BAM!

BAM is a system-level brain model that will eventually include hundreds of computational models of different subsystems of the human brain. BAM is built using BrainStudio running on the Ikaros system, and is also designed to control the humanoid robot Epi.

A system-level brain model is an integrative approach to understanding the brain, aiming to replicate the complex interactions and functions of biological neural systems within a computational framework. Unlike models that focus on specific neural mechanisms or cognitive functions in isolation, system-level brain models attempt to simulate the entirety of the brain's structure and functionality to understand how different parts of the brain interact to produce cognition, learning and behavior.

BAM is developed at the Lund University Cognitive Science Robotics Group.
